Vladimir Lozan is an associate in our Orange County office.
Mr. Lozan worked as a design engineer for Chevron Products Co. His other professional experiences through various internships include accounting, information technology, and stock market analysis. During law school, Mr. Lozan was a summer institute teaching assistant for CASRIP, the UW Center for the Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property. He completed a clerkship with the UW Division of the Attorney General of Washington. He also served as an articles editor for Washington Law Review and treasurer for Technology Law Society.
Mr. Lozan was a summer associate in 2010 and joined the firm as an associate in 2011.

Design Engineer - Chevron Products Co (2006 – 2008)
Besides Design Engineering Intern duties below, also spearheaded planning, budgeting, and executing maintenance shutdowns of oil refinery plant units - coordinating needs of multiple customers. Managed $10 million capital projects budget. Organized and led government required health and safety evaluations. With special project team, created company-wide process to analyze and replace potentially unreliable or unsafe high delta pressure valves (planned to be implemented industry-wide as American Petroleum Institute guideline).
Design Engineering Intern - Chevron Products Co (2005)
Performed engineering analysis and problem solving for issues related to operations, maintenance, and environmental concerns with focus on safety, reliability, and operating expenses. Generated work orders and management of change packages for design, equipment, piping, and welding jobs.
Accounting Intern - Global Trading Resource Corp (2004)
Updated accounts receivable and accounts payable using QuickBooks Pro for Northwest import/export business. Designed method to track quality of delivered product for reconciling invoice payments.
Information Technology Intern - Weyerhaeuser Co (2003)
Developed proprietary software system for daily operations of company that managed information and data on customers, vendors, inventory, invoices, payments, and departmental profits.
