Derk A. Westermeyer

Derk Westermeyer assists clients with patent prosecution and litigation matters involving food processing; mechanical devices; and medical devices.

Derk graduated from Gonzaga University, cum laude, with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Derk gained mechanical design experience as a design engineer at Hinds-Bock Corporation where he designed custom food process machinery.

Derk earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2018.   

Derk was a Summer Associate with the firm in 2017 and joined the firm in 2018.
